Renata-A Shampoo

Packaging Design Renata-A Shampoo by Hou, Hsiao Che Renata-A is a shampoo bottle designed for a hair care brand. The bottle body is made with a bio-based material produced from discarded tea stems collected from tea farmers in Taiwan. The material replaces 40 percent of petrochemical plastic and helps reduce carbon emissions. The bottle is as durable as conventional plastic containers, can be recycled and does not release toxic substances into the soil after incineration. The packaging holds a shampoo made with Chinese herbal extracts, and the design reflects the theme of regeneration.
