Gift of Huangyao Sauce

Packaging Design Gift of Huangyao Sauce by Jie Yang Gift of Huangyao is a gift packaging design for a seasoning sauce made in Huangyao ancient town, Guangxi, China. Three layers of hollowed out carved paper are placed one behind the other to form a three-dimensional scene. The outer layer shows gatehouses, archways and bridges. The middle layer shows pavilions and local life. The inner layer shows mountains and rivers. The arrangement recalls a traditional Chinese courtyard home. The bottle cap takes the shape of a bluestone road. Degradable paper is used as the main material.
