Packaging Design Hei Hu Hall Incense Incense Packaging by Jing-Yi Li Hei Hu Hall is a set of incense packaging designs created for a Taiwanese incense producer. Twelve package designs are grouped into three series: Worship to Gods, Memorial to Ancestors, and Taste of Incense. The artwork is based on five auspicious beasts found in traditional temples in Taiwan, including the Kylin, the Chinese Phoenix, the Spirit Turtle, the Dragon and the White Tiger. Abstract lines and geometric characters form the patterns. Box sizes vary with the incense inside. The design aims to renew a traditional industry and share Taiwanese auspicious culture with younger people.
