Packaging Design Zhen Yuan Zeng Baijiu Packaging by Wen Liu Zhen Yuan Zeng is a packaging design for an aged baijiu, a traditional Chinese spirit. The bottle is made of ceramic and shaped as a modern version of the traditional liquor jar. Precise geometric facets refine the classic form and reduce its visual weight. The rippled cap refers to the slow aging of the liquor inside the jar. The bottle is wrapped in sulphate paper, which softens the outline and partly conceals the form. The paper is peeled away by the consumer, so the bottle is revealed step by step. The package measures 85 by 85 by 165 millimeters.
