Packaging Design Moutai Group's - Taiyuan ZHI Packing Design by li zuo Taiyuan ZHI Yuanyi is a liquor bottle packaging design created for the Moutai Group. The design departs from the established Moutai style and keeps only the familiar bottle shape, which is enlarged and made taller. Water is the central theme, since liquor is described as a water that carries emotion. The surface shows a seawater and cliff pattern drawn from ancient official robes, together with traditional auspicious motifs. Waves, standing stones and clouds suggest happiness and long life. The decoration is baked onto the glass bottle.
